CTO on demand
The technical decisions a founder shouldn't be making alone, made with you. Architecture, stack, hiring, the trade-offs that cost you later if you get them wrong now.
Aliph Studio is a venture studio and technical partner in Muscat, Oman. building products from idea to launch for founders and teams across the GCC.
Aliph Studio is a technical partner for founders and teams across the GCC. Eight years of building startups, now spent sitting on your side of the table, from the first rough sketch to something real people are using. Not a vendor you brief and wait on. Someone who builds with you.
01
A rough sketch and open questions. This is where every product starts.
02
Architecture, stack, the trade-offs that bite later. We decide them with you, not for you.
03
In front of real users, in the market, ready to learn from.
The technical decisions a founder shouldn't be making alone, made with you. Architecture, stack, hiring, the trade-offs that cost you later if you get them wrong now.
We build the first version, get it in front of real users, and ship. The goal is a product in the market you can learn from, not a perfect spec sitting in a doc.
Automations and AI features that actually save time or money. We build with these tools every day, so we can tell you where they help and where they're just noise.
Real Arabic-first product design, right to left from the start. Not an English product with a translation bolted on at the end, which is what most of the market ships.
It starts with a short intake, one question at a time. Five minutes, and it tells us whether we're the right fit before either of us spends real time on it.
From there it's a conversation, not a proposal deck. We figure out what you actually need, what it takes to build, and whether we're the people to do it. If we're not, we'll say so.
Arabic-first from the ground up, built with a founder who already had the audience and needed the product to match.
Quiet software that takes a painful manual process off a team's plate.
We build hardware and software for our own use, which is usually where the sharpest ideas start.
Some client work stays private. We're happy to talk through it in a call.
Start with the intake. It takes five minutes and helps us understand exactly where we can help.
A venture studio based in Oman. We work two ways. Sometimes we build an idea into a real product ourselves, then bring in a founder to run it and give them equity. Other times someone already has the idea, and we help them make it real. Either way, you're working with people who know the GCC ecosystem, have actual connections inside it, and can handle the technical side properly. We also do CTO-as-a-Service for teams that need senior technical direction but aren't ready to hire a full-time CTO.
Both. It depends on the deal. When we're putting in heavy effort to carry something all the way to the finish, that usually means equity. For more defined work, it's a fee. We pick whatever fits the project instead of forcing everyone into one model.
Three kinds of people. Founders with an idea and nothing built yet. Corporates who want to get better at how they use tech, whether that's automation, AI, or some system they need built. There we study how the team actually works day to day and figure out what's worth digitizing, even when they're not sure what they want. And businesses ready to grow: a home bakery that needs a real platform to sell cakes, a healthy-food operation running entirely off WhatsApp that needs a proper system behind it. If you don't know exactly what you need, working that out with you is part of the job.
Eight-plus years across every part of the startup world, not just the code. The finance, the technical calls, customer segmentation, operations. We see the whole thing, not only the build. You can hire us for one project or partner with us for the long haul. And we're an Arabic-first venture studio and agency, which almost nobody else in this market is.
Arabic first. We design for Arabic users from the start, right to left. When it makes sense we build the English version too, since plenty of Arabic-speaking customers still like using products in English.
Start with the intake. A few quick questions, about five minutes. From there we set up a call or a meeting to talk everything through and see if we're a fit.
